Question about vararam intake...
If added do you need to program anything or just bolt on and enjoy the ride?

John

I did mine without tuning and had no problems. I didn't get a tune because I knew I was going to add headers in the near future. I did however disconnect the battery for the duration of the Vararam installation so as to erase the ecm and have it reprogram itself after driving for a while.

you forgot a few steps, I added them for you...
and no, with nothing more than an intake a tune really isn't necessary

Funny comments above but I will say I am very happy with the performance of the Vararam.

Did you have a Vararam? Was fit and finish that bad? That's the first I've heard .

there are two schools of thought.
Vararam says if it is your only mod, after the install to drive for about 50 miles at various speeds/rpm's above 50 mph.
others suggest a PCM relearn
