Default Differential gear ratio

What would be the best gear ratio for a mostly street driven/a couple of times a year Open track days car. Engine will consist of a modified LS2 with around 570 hp at the crank. The diff and engine are going into a project car I'm building('66 Nova) and some have told me to not even bother with a 3.42 or 3.73 unless I expect to be tracking the car alot which I don't. They suggested 3.90 or 4.10's. Any suggestions?
Also, I've heard that these diffs have a tendency to leak out of the left side. Would it be a wise move to have DTE do a stage 1 on the diff to prevent this from happening before it goes in the car?

I’d say 3:73 if you lean toward open track days, or 3.90 if you lean more toward street/strip driving. 4.10 is a great gear but you’re right on the edge of having too much power to work well with 4.10’s

The leak is just a matter of a bad seal. I believe GM updated the seal at some point. If you’re worried about it just replace the seal while you have the diff out.

Really? On some other sites I have been told the opposite that 3.90 or 4.10 would not be right and that 3.42 or even 3.23?
What it sounds like to me is the taller the gear the more street manners?

I've run 3.42,3.73 and 3.90 with my 402 and 3.73 with an M6 has been my favorite all around. From strip to open track.

Now do you say 3.73 purely for the performance aspect? The car I am building will be driven mostly on the street, not everyday, but a lot and the occasional 1/4 mile and/or road race. I think I am looking for something that I can drive comfortably but also get a great kick in the pants.
