rotor install
thanks guys.
the short version is unbolt the caliper brackets, slide the rotor off, put the new one on.
some people take the caliper off the bracket first, I just leave them together. The bracket bolts are on there pretty good (125ft-lbs w/ loctite) so you'll need to use a little force or a breaker bar to get them lose. You'll probably also need to push the pistons back into the caliper a little to get it off the rotor if it's worn down. Don't let the caliper hang from the brake lines, either use a bungee cord or sit the caliper on the lower A-arm. If they're the origional rotors, there is a little disk that is used to hold the rotor on the car on the assembly line before the wheels are put on. Just use a pair of pliers to pull it off and throw it away. If the rotor is rusted in place, try a rubber mallet, then some WD40 and a rubber mallet, then get a real hammer, then if that doesn't work, get a propane torch and heat up the rotor while you hit it with the hammer. For the rears make sure the parking brake is off and it's better if you disconnect the parking brake cable, but you may be able to get away with leaving it on.

I've been wondering how this color combo would look, I wasn't sure if the two different Red's would look ok of not, or if I should paint my calipers black instead, or just leave them alone.
