My Z06 came with a Delco 86-7YR top post battery, with 590 CCA.
Not sure why you are wanting to find out what other models use the same battery? I think 04 was the first year where GM went back to top post batteries.
I just put in a Delco 78 6 year battery in my '02 which had an exide in it with a date of 10/05(was completely dead.) The Delco was recommended by my local Corvette shop. $89 plus tax. I put it in and the car came to life. I am getting one for my '00.

My tires had flat spots with cracking all around them. I only had 200 miles on them but the inspection shop made me put $1500 worth of new ones on in order to pass. How did that happen and what can I do to prevent them from happening to the new set?
How old were the tires? Tires over 5 years of age should be replaced. If you are going to store your car, inflate the tires to the max pressure (on the sidewall) and then bleed as necessary when you are ready to drive the car.

There's a cure for that ya know?
Tires don't flat spot if you drive them. (unless of course, you lock down the brakes at 170MPH! )
What ever you get be sure that it is a AMG type glass matt a number of companies make them....YOUR MAINE COMPUTER IS DIRECTLY UNDER THE BATTERY.....so if you use acid type and it leaks you will be a very unhappy camper....
