Hey guys. For the past, I would say 5 months, every time I would hit a bump, I would get the "service traction/ABS" light. Well for the past month or so, it has been coming on all the time even when just turning on the car. Now I know common sense would tell me to take it to the dealership, but the light would always go off when I would restart the car. Ok, well now for the past two weeks I have been getting a really bad FISHY smell from underneath my car. Also, I have noticed that my brakes (with new pads by the way) have seemed a little weak as of late. If I recall correctly a certain fluid, if leaking, smells like fish but I can't remember which. With the service ABS light coming on all the time, I fear the Vette is leaking brake fluid. Any help would be fantastic! Thanks!

Not sure about the "fishy smell" but my 98 had a similar issue last year.
The light would come on under hard braking and I did notice a "funny" smell in the garage.
Turns out the left front brake line had a very small pinhole. Under pressure, the fluid would leak onto the exhaust causing the smell.
If your fluid level is low it must be getting out somewhere.
Get it on a lift, have someone work the brakes and you'll find it!
Yours sounds like a very common problem. You need to read the DTC codes and list what codes are showing for your problem. Here is the procedure to read your DTC Codes:
Go to “technical data base” and then to “Corvette ECM Computer Codes”. Then select your year car. Read the instructions and then scroll down to the "READ MORE" window to view the code definitions.\
