I wonder if you can just take the bolts off and just slide the intake up a few inches while keeping everything connected?

I don’t think he has the intake out of the way yet! I told him to call me and I would be happy to help. I also offered the to let him barrow the tool to release the fuel line if he wants it. I’m just waiting! He’s probably outside trying to remove it write now.

It’s pretty tight back there! You really need the intake out of the way to remove the tube.

I just loosened the bolt (not easy) with an open end wrench and slipped the AIR pipe out. Now I did not replace it, so I don't know how difficult that would be without removing the intake.

i feel your pain....! I was at mine for about 2 hours also but finally just yanked on the SOB and got it to come out. Installing it back togather is simple. Getting it out is the nightmare!

Well, I got the intake more-so out of the way with the fuel line still intact. Turns out I has a air tube connected on the FRONT of the TB. Now to just get a wrench to get that one bolt out of where the air pipe connects...the thing that looks like a lobster claw below.

Rediculous.

Just about finished the install. Headers in place, Xpipe in place, everything was looking good. I alloted myself about 30 minutes to get the clamps/bolts tightened on the X pipe under the car and as fate will have it, the circle clamps will not tighten around where the pipes connect. About every single one of them stripped as I tightened it and now I cant tighten nor get it off to go buy MORE clamps.

Thank you LG for not suppling me with an AIR tube and shipping crappy quality clamps. This has been one difficult, expensive, and painful 4 day install.

haha no, The air tube was 1 day because I had to hunt down the damn part and had trouble with the swap. THEN I crushed the damn black piece on the air tube so I had to buy a replacement for that. I guess my only last concern is I tightened the pipe clamps (the circular ones with the bolt through it) under the car around the Xpipe, both sides arent touching each other but they are as tight as I am able to wrench it, is this okay??????

Should be fine. You will need to run a couple heat cycles on the exhaust and then RE-TIGHTEN all those clamps. I did min twice, they work fine.
