Passengers side header wouldnt go in so I had to unbolt a line and it was under pressure and sprayed out alot of air. I'm guessing this is an AC line and im going to have to get my AC recompressed? heres a few pics of it, its the one wrapped and taped with cloth/metal.
What is the port on the passengers side headers that is welded on just below the AIR port on the LG headers? Last, I thought this header system included the 01+ air tube to reach the header on the passengers side, mine did not. can other LG street series owners clarify this?
Call Lou in the morning for the right AIR tube. You dis-charged your a/c. How are you putting these in? I have done plenty of LG's and never had or heard of an issue.
And dont drive to far to get that A/C serviced. It has oil in the system that lubes the internals. I'm sure most of it has blown out with the freon(sp?). Dont want a burned up compressor after all the header work.

As long as the A/C isn't turned on there is no issue, and the car won't let the compressor start anyway because it will be locked out on the low pressure switch.
yea have fun with the air tube swap its a nightmare... especially if u have big hands. Even with little hands trying to get in there with any tool sucks..... i lost a couple doing my header swap lol
ok, I've been stuck on swapping the airtube for a good 2+ hrs. All the bolts are off the intake and I'm holding the two bolts up in the back so they dont get stuck in the head, and when I pull it out it gets stuck on something in the very back on the drivers side. BUT I cant see anything and the intake wont budge an inch!
why not just take the intake off? Besides disconnecting the simple injector clips and fuel line, it will make the job ALOT easier, and not take 2 hours.

There's a clamp behind the driver's side head that holds the air tube in place. You only have to loosen the clamp, as it is "U" shaped and will slide out.
