First thing I would check is see if the BCM in the passengers footwell is damp or wet. Is the carpet wet? If so pull back the carpet and dry out the BCM with fan or hair dryer on low. Also disconnect the battery and then check the connectors to the BCM. If all that is OK start checking grounds. There are several threads if the BCM is wet on what causes it and how to cure it. GOOD LUCK
If there are no other codes I wouldn't worry about it. All of the modules on the data bus send State of Health messages to each other. If the message isn't received a communication failure code is set. The messages are sent continously and it only takes an ignition noise pulse or other radio frequency interference, dirty connection, etc to block one of those messages and the code is set. They do not mean much unless there are other failures occuring.
With this particular code if your tire pressure system or remote entry system isn't working it could mean there is a problem with the data link between the two modules. If every thing is working OK its just a missed code.

C5 and C6 Corvettes are VERY sensitave to battery (B+) voltage levels. What is the status of your charging system???? If the battery is low or defective,,, it frequently will cause many of the modules to display DTC codes. Especialy NO COMMS codes.
How old is your 12 VDC battery and what state is the charge???????
There are other reasons to get this code but,,, low battery voltage is a very common cause.
