I tried to get a new set of fronts at my local Costco and them told me they didn't sell them!!!!
Cost me an extra $60 from someone else with I thought was a good deal.
I will be talking to the store manager the next time I'm there.
maybe he was giving you the runaround because he wasn't comfortable with the installation?
I would take the manager a printout of the website items. You're supposed to be able to order them online and they get delivered & installed at your local Costco.
The again, if they are that uniterested, maybe they don't deserve to work on a Vette!
Though, since they passed up a more than $1000 sale, I'm sure his boss would like to know

I'll let y'all know when I inquire.
See my previous post - sounds like they're not qualified and could end up costing much more in problems. These tires require EMT qualified techs to install.
My EMTs had 22,000 miles on them and were down to ~ 3/32" to 4/32". I replaced them w/ Michelin Pilot Sport A/S ZP’s (ZP= Zero Pressure or Run Flat). They were $235.00 and $335.00 respectively from the Tire Rack. The same EMT was $100.00 more per tire! TR can refer you to a local installer in your area. These Michelin tires are much quieter and have a better overall tread ware, traction and temp rating than the EMTs.
Michelin (UTQG) Rating = 400 AA A, EMTs (UTQG) Rating = 300 AA A
I went to Pigeon Forge, TN for a hot rod show a couple of weeks after the new tires were installed. I drove the Tail of the Dragon w/ some friends. This is a mountainous road with 318 turns in 11 miles. (www.tailofthedragon.com) The Michelins handled great. My friends in C5’s w/ EMTs had a visible film of tire dust on the body behind the wheels. Those of us w/ Michelins did not. Can’t wait to try them out at VIR in March!
