Default Replacing Oil Sensor.

Mine pegged at 80 and stayed at between 117 and 124. I was always told to use AC Delco Parts but after reading several posts it does not sound like a good move. Borg Warner? Or please suggest one that any of you have had to replace once and forget about!
Thx,
Tim
Im no mechanic-can I replace this by myself?

Sure if you have time and if you have some tools, you can. Do a search - there are "how-to" docs written up for this procedure. You need to pull the intake manifold...

Here you go! This thread has all the info u need to do it yourself. Yep, u can do it just like I did, and I'm not a mech either. Just takes time and be patient. Within this thread, there is a link to the details from Vector Z too:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1472249

Let me know if u need any additional info.

Also, on that thread is the info on where to get the replacement sensor from rockauto.com which many feel is the best replacement quality.
