Battery Level ???

Battery Level ???

I just put in a Bosch battery "new" and wanted to know what the level should read on the DIC. It read 14 and just wanted to know if this is correct.

The DIC is really to measure alternator output, which will fluctuate from ~ 13V to 14.6V. With the engine off, the DIC shows battery voltage at around 11.6 but it's not accurate. The best way to measure battery voltage is with a DMM at the battery, and it should typically measure between 12.3-12.6V.
