I'm replacing the clutch M/C this weekend. I know I need to remove the w/s washer reservoir. I assume I extract the clutch fluid from the reservoir. How much should I remove? I have a mity vac, and I don't want to create a problem.
Once I remove xxx fluid, start taking it apart.
How should I fill the new m/c with fluid? I had planned on trying to bench bleed, then install.
Any help will be appreciated.
I read the tech tip on R/R clutch m/c line. It gives some basics, but it doesn't really replace the m/c, just the line.

The new replacement GM M/C comes with the new (master cylinder side) line already attached and has the fluid in it too.
HTH,
Robert
BTW, you should still do a normal clutch bleed after installation though in order to purge all the old fluid out of the slave cylinder side.
