no, there is no need to pin a crank unless you are running boost.

My stock 2000 crank pulley was wobbly, which is normal. I upgraded to a D-1 with a 8 rib and I put a new one it and it wobbles. So, as long as your belts are staying on leave it alone, but have it checked to make sure it is not lose.

with my mods...I thought I might have gotten lucky. I need to email the original owner. If pinned..it may be maggie time. Otherwise, I don't want to fool with it.

didn't cost me a dime but is about $600 at my dealer to do. Seems like if you have any ability you could do it yourself, and go with an aftermarket. I only had it done at the dealer because of the warranty. Mine still has very slight wobble with the new pulley, but liveable, next time will be sfi pulleys

Even though this is probably a bit old of a post, I'll chime in a little. Just had mine done. I got the underdrive with an overdrive alt. pulley. $300. It was another $350 to put it in. The belt suggested is 4060780 (78 in long) however it was a bit too long and had the tensioner at the very end. The belt squealed like a stuck pig. I got a 4060775 (77.5 in long) gatorback from auto zone and it juuuust barely fit on. The tensioner is about 1/8 in from the tightest. No squealing.
ALSO... get a new bolt. ARP 12 point.. $35
