Default Stripped a Nut

I was trying to take off the nut holding the upper drivers seat belt bracket but the nut got stripped and I cant get it off Ive tried WD-40 and vise grips, sockets for removing stripped nuts, ect. But that metal is so soft I do more harm than good. Any other Ideas how to get it off? Im installing a harness bar so I'll have to go to the hardwar store or something later to get a new nut anyways.

Those torx bolts are really tight. Have you tried a big set of vice-grips ?

If that does not work I would go over to a local muffler shop with a bolt that is simular in size to the head of the torx bolt and have them spot weld in on.
