Default another question

Since i dont have my manual and I am very new to the C5 Vette
I have another question. When i turn on my heater and adjust fan speed I notice the air conditioner lights up! This happens every time I operate any button on climate control. Is this suppose to happen? I have to manually press the Air Conditioner button to stop it from operating.
again any advise would be appreciated

That's how my '04 works as well, just turn off the a/c if not wanted. My wife's Trailblazer works the same way...has to do with drawing out humidity or something like that.

try setting your memory using the buttons on your drivers door pos 1 or 2, turn on everything the way you want it and press and hold button untill light stops blinking, turn car off and then restart and see if that helps....good luck
