I had the B&M SS in my previous car. I really liked it. I just picked up a used Hurst SS for my Z06 for $80 on craigslist. I'll report back.

I've got the B&M Ripper on my 02 Z.Like it,but it does have some 2 & 3 rd gear rattle.

I've never had a Vette that didn't have a rattle or squeak.The C5 is much better than the C3 & specially the C4's.

My 99 had a B&M Ripper in it when purchased, it was very notchy and had trouble getting into 1st and reverse. I cut 1 ¼ loops off of the shifter springs and did the Anti-Venom mod then adjusted the shifter assembly (if you need instructions let me know, I have the “basic” and the **** instructions).

Man what a difference!!! Now it is the best shifting car I’ve ever driven!!!!
