Default LS2 vs LS6 Intake

I'm just wondering if the only reason for installing an LS2 intake in place of an LS6 is to be able to use a 90mm TB and if so, what issues would be encountered in doing this swap. Is the LS2 intake the same as the LS6 except for the opening for the TB?

Thanks.

Keep your LS6....the LS2 is a downgrade concerning power output even with the larger opening (which isnt a key component in an intake's effectiveness anyway).

Do a search....many threads about this and quite a few independent results showing weaker performance.

Go FAST or dont bother swapping....

Yeah I saw a graph showing hp and tq of quite a few different intakes overlayed over each other over on LS1 tech. The LS2 was less power than the LS6 accross the board.

The LS6 Flows better than the LS2....It's been proven many times. The LS2 Is a great Intake Manifold ~don't get me wrong, but the LS6 Is even better Flow wise.
