new symptom, same problem/ result
DBS (dead battery) has cuased much rustration over the last few months for myself and my dear 2000 vette. If she sits for more than two days the battery is dead. Had the previous battery checked numerous times along with the alternator and all seems to be checked out just fine. Problems continued and I put a new battery in..... problems continued.... drove the vette yesterday and all was great. Drove my truck today b/c of weather.... weather wasn't too bad...wife went out this afternoon to drive the car around and it was almost dead... dead enough to not start. Got home and when lookinng into the car.... not opened it nor pushed any buttons yet the DIC was displaying the odometer and mileage.... this could be my drain problem! But now my question is is where do I go with this? Is this still caused by the BCM going bad and not going innto sleep mode? Any help is greatly appreciated! Also ... anyone with repair manuals have the replacement part for the BCM ? thanks so much everyone!
