My taillights are not working, including the center light? The brake lights work. I changed the fuse #6 for taillights but still no workee, anything else I should be looking at? Everything else electrical is working OK.
If you've got one of the taillights out in your hand, use a voltmeter to check power to the plug. Ground the negative lead on the frame (not in the plug) and see if you've got 12 volts on the hot side of the plug with the lights on. If you do, you've got a ground bad at the rear. If there's no voltage, you need to go back to the fuse box or light switch and start there.
Just reread your question. If the brake lights use the same ground (which I hadn't considered), the voltage must be lost before it gets to the tail light connection. If you've got 12 volts on the fuse, you've got to be losing connection from there to the tail lights, before the wiring splits to each light. Sorry I don't have a wiring diagram to see if it goes through any relays or modules first. Good luck
