If you haven't done the other side yet you may want to apply some rope caulk (Home Depot) to the top of the tabs where the rocker panel fits into the quarter panel. The caulk will prevent those little stones from getting into the seam between the rocker and the quarter.
For years I was wondering how those little stones kept getting into that seam and then be almost impossible to get out. Then I took the inner wheel well out and saw they were going right off the tires, by the edge of the inner wheel well and right into the hole where the tabs fit into the quarter. A little rope caulk pushed into the holes and I never saw them again.

Dude, thanks for the writeup.. I have been wanting to do this mod.. looks exactly like my car..
My concern was aligning the cooling ducts... Looks like that was easy too?
Cooling ducts are the easy part, they slip onto the screen/duct and mount with the same screw that holds the wheel well in. I used my OE wheel wells, they have a faint scribe line on the inside from the factory exactly where you should cut them out. I believe 2000 and up Vettes have these scribe lines. Cut along those lines and you are golden!!
