Which is the the best supercharger to drive on the street.
with little or no whistle. Driveablity very important. and how much hp can be gained, without building up the motor.
We might be a bit bias but we feel we have the best system available. Feel free to call me any time if you have any questions at all or you can check out the Forced Induction section for more feelback on our kit.

I know I have seen very impressive gains from centrifugal superchargers but most are loud..ATI's having the best gains that I have seen (close friend doubled his hp in his V6 mustang to 320rwhp for over 40,000 mi with no issues) but they are loud. New designs might be quieter, this was quite a few yrs ago.

The ATI head units we have used in the past were very inconsistant with some being very loud and some quiet. The Paxton units we are using now are all very quiet and make great power

You can hardly hear the supercharger on my car, and the guys at OC Corvettes said it was the quietest one they had ever heard.
Here's a link to a video of a part of my dyno tune session. The whine that you hear throughout the video is the dyno roller, with virtually no S/C whine at all. Great if you want stealth, like I do, because most people would have no idea you have an S/C.
It's a Vortech SQ S-Trim supercharger, A&A kit. Installed (by me) on an '02 Z06 with Supermaxx long tubes, 521 rwph so far, and Sean at OC Corvettes thinks he can bump that up to 530 rwhp and still have a safe 12:1 AFR.
