Default More EBCM stuff......sorry fellas

This is an update from a previous post...

Symptoms: brakes randomly engage when cruising straight and in turns, occasionally when the brake pedal is depressed; a vibration can be felt in the pedal immediately followed by the ABS active warning.

HUD displays: service active handling, service vehicle soon.
Pulled codes twice:
(second pull after reset)

TCS: C1228 H RR excessive wheel variation (repeat)
C1287 H Steering sensor rate malfunction (repeat)
60 IPC: U1160 H Loss of Communications with LDCM
99 HVAC: U1064 H Loss of communications with BCM
A1 RDCM: U1064 H Loss of communications with BCM

(First pull of codes)

10-PCM: P1626 H Theft Deterrent Fuel Enable Signal Lost
28-TCS: C1228 H RR Excessive Wheel Speed Variation
C1287 H Steering Sensor Rate Malfunction
40-BCM: U1016 H Loss of Communications with PCM
U1096 H Loss of Communications with IPC
60-IPC: U1016 H Loss of Communications with PCM
U1040 H Loss of Communications with TCS
U1056 H Loss of Communications with RTD
U1064 H Loss of Communications with BCM
U1176 H Loss of Communications with RFA
U1255 H Serial Data Line Malfunction
A0-LDCM: U1064 H Loss of Communications with BCM
U1096 H Loss of Communications with IPC
B0-RFA: U1016 H Loss of Communication with PCM
U1064 H Loss of Communication with BCM
U1096 H Loss of Communication with IPC
U1255 H Serial Data Line Malfunction

Does this seem like a EBCM problem or a Steering sensor malfunction? My conclusion was the the steering rate sensor is giving a false reading, causing the EBCM to think the wheel is spinning excessively for the steering wheel position. Which in turn is causing the active handling to engage the brakes....Or does this sound like a bad wheel speed sensor?...can i check the wheel speed sensor with a volt meter?

This problem started two years ago, In the beginning I replaced the EBCM with no results, went through all the grounds with dielectric grease...and changed the battery to a red top...problems went away until now. I don"t have the very first code pull but i remember the hud display had more warnings: service active handling, service traction control, service ABS. Now abs active, service active handling, service traction control.

I had my steering position sensor go out on me last year. I'm sorry, but I don't remember the codes. What I do remember is that that one rear brake would keep engaging lightly on it's own and the cruise would turn off.
TTT for a better answer for you.
