Default AR headers or Dynatech headers

Which header is better or nets more power AR headers or Dynatech headers?

not sure how much of a difference in the net hp from either, but I hear the AR headers are easy to install so they get my vote.

I had Dynatechs on my 346 with great results. Fit and finish is very good. I've never heard anybody complain about them. I sold them when I recently put a 402 in the car and replaced them with 1 7/8 inch AR's. THe AR's have a merge collector and the primaries are approximately the same length. Fit and finish on the AR's is also very good.

Bang 4 your buck the LG's are quite good. They're stainless also. Fit and finish isn't as good as the AR for sure...but they're also almost half the price. Are the AR's going to get you double the hp? Nope....

Basically AR's are the best available hands down from what everyone says, but you pay for it.

Just a consideration if you're on a budget.

Are you talking the LG Street Series Headers? Are there any numbers out on those?

I put down 330/340 SAE rwhp/tq with mine partially tuned.

The 2.5" don't give away a ton of hp to the 3".

Love my Dynatechs, easy install, kit came with everything needed for installation, fit was perfect. Also got them ceramic coated, less heat in engine bay, Price was also hard to resist, under $1300 shipped, not bad, now your'e looking at $1500 plus shipping.
Another happy Dynatech customer.

I had Dynatechs installed a month ago. Great fit and finish and I'm very pleased with the results.

This run is with a Blackwing CAI and the Dyantech exhaust connected to a Bassani Cat Back.

I would say any peak HP differences are purely speculative since there hasn't been any back to back comparisons. I also highly doubt that the hp difference between any of the headers will be felt on the street, but may show a few hp on the dyno.

I went a completely different route because I wanted a Tri-Y header design, and yet you never hear any discussion on this type of design.

LG's are very popular on this forum but over on LS1Tech the QTP's seem to be considered best.

if you're comparing the AR to the lg street series, your post is valid.

however, the AR headers are the equivalent of the PRO lg headers, not the entry level street series.

apples to apples.
