Well i was installing the insullation kit from exotic vette....i had to remove an electric control unit, located in the rear driver-side compartment. It had two bundles of cables going into it...What does this control??? Anyhow this unit slipped out of my hands...while trying to save it, i ended up swatting it ten feet through the air onto the concrete.... i gave it a shake, no loose parts....turned on the car no codes... am i safe or no?????????
First off, it's the Electronic Suspension Control (ECS) module. It controls the real-time damping of the suspension. If you're not throwing any codes, I'd say you're ok. Maybe run it through the three shock damping settings to see if you can feel a difference from one to the next.
