Window Commander Install notes / pics
Did my install of C5 Solutions Window Commander a couple of weekends ago, and got my "mods" page up and running. If you are wondering what this mod does... it essentially adds remote control to your power windows. Walk up to the car, click once on unlock and the driver door unlocks. Twice, and the passenger door unlocks. Three times and both windows roll down. Click lock once, both doors lock. Lock twice, and both windows roll up. Now you don't have to get back into the car to roll up the windows after putting on your top (coupe or vert).
Way cool mod, and not too difficult. You just have to be willing to pry apart the interior door panel with a butter knife... :eek: :eek: :D

Dave, great instructions! Although the printed instructions were good, I wish I had your pics before I installed mine. Outside of the Powerloader II it is the best mod that I have on my vert.

Thanx for the post Dave! Great directions and pix! I have a Convert and have been wanting to get that controller, you just motivated me to get off my butt and order one.

I also installed the "commander"...it was very easy - took about an hour...alot longer for the first door since you dont know exactly what youre doing...the second door was fast though....the product works great and is a great convenience...

Anybody in the D/FW area that wants to do the install, let me know and I'll be willing to help. It's not difficult, but the first door is a bit scary until you see what it looks like inside...

Great website Dave! I love my Window Commander and think that everyone should have one for the added convenience that it provides. Thanks too, for the pics on the euro tail light install... I wish that I had them when I installed mine! :cheers:
