Default Heads & Cams

I am looking to upgrade my heads and cams. I have read up a lot on the AFR 205's and seen a lot of good things. I have also read that a good cam w/ these heads are the G5-X1E. I have google searched and searched forums and cant seem to find anyone that sells them. I have only had the car for about 6 months. It already had headers on it, not sure what kind, when I got it and I got BB-PRT about 3 months ago. Its time to go faster and need some help on where to go. I am about 20miles north of houston and need a good shop as well. Any help would b appreciated.

That's an LG Motorsports cam. I believe they call it the stealth executive cam or something like that. IIRC, It's basically designed to make your car idle and run like stock but give a small increase in power.

I know A&A corvettes has a couple custom comp cam grinds that will work great with the AFR 205's and give you STRONG power and still good drivability. They have their 224/228 cam listed specifically for those heads.

Of course driveability is an issue but I would really like at least a little bit of a lope. I plan on getting a 100hp Dyno Tune wet kit after I get the heads and cams. Would this be a good cam for nitrous too. If not what would be? Thanks for the speedy replies

The A&A 224/228 will work well and will have a bit of lope to it.

Most cams for our cars are Comp Cams but custom ground to the various tuners specs. The specific Comp cam 224/228 I was telling you about can be found at this page: https://www.aandacorvette.com/cart/s...p?MainCatID=10

Just scroll to the bottom.
