Default horn

Horn won't work with the horn pad, but works with alarm. Anyone have any ideas. TIA

If you aren't the original owner, is it possible someone disconnected the horn wiring (or fuse) due to a short in the contacts in the steering wheel (a somewhat common issue)?

When we bought our 99 last August ours did not work either. It took the service tech about 15 minutes to adjust the pad so it made contact correctly. Since the cost was covered I cannot tell you what the charge would have been
