Default X-Pipe Question

I have the Z06 Titanium exhaust on and since I have the Jingle that's going on I was thinking of putting on an X-pipe? Since the exhaust isn't loud will it still mellow it out to my old stock one?

Thanks,
TonyP.

I found the X-Pipe helps by reducing the popping on deceleration.

Chances are the x-pipe will mellow out the sound, but the titanium mufflers will still sound great. I think the x-pipe makes the sound deeper.

My X-Pipe didn't change the overall sound, just eliminated the popping on deceleration.

i found that the xpipe (bassani rear) did the trick to get rid of the poping on deceleration like stated above.

In my opinion it did quiet down the mufflers a little bit as well. Still sounds nice, different tho.

this was before i took the cats off , and i too have z06 mufflers.

When I had the Bassani on my stock Ti's I noticed that It wasn't as deep sounding...It was more like a European V12 sound at cruise, It screamed with authority at W.O.T though Almost all of the popping was eliminated. It seemed louder at WOT and quieter @ cruise. I now have the Kooks 3" X-Pipe with Hi-Flow Cats and with this setup It's still pretty quiet at cruise but deeper than stock, now at WOT forget about It!! Very throaty and mean sounding. It sounds like a big block. I love the sound. I just wish It was a tad deeper at cruise, that's just my taste. I love the sound of a Mustang with Flowmasters~I always have, I owned an 89 GT 5.0 5spd with American Thunder Flowmasters among many other things when I was In College back In the day. You might even pick up 5 hp with an X-pipe because of the better flow design. Best of luck
