Bulb is stuck

I am replacing my headlamp bulbs, but two of them are stuck. They low beam bulbs will not turn, so I can not get them out.

Any suggestions??

I would pull the entire headlight out. I beleive its only for screws. That'll give you an eyes on what is causing the binding. If you're having a problem getting the old bulbs out you might have more of a problem getting the new bulbs in. Or you might break something. When your putting those screws back in be sure to get them started in straight. These screws only bite into the plastic casing of the headlight. Good luck. R/ Al

I had this problem the other day. Keep trying and push in a little while you are turning. They will come loose, but it may take a little more elbow grease than you might expect.

PLEASE be careful how much you push, twist, pull, yell and stuff. Have seen a few guys sent to get stiches from the bulb all the sudden comming out! The will come out, actually try not being so rough with em, there is a just perfect pressure twist needed and they come right out.

headlamp bulb

Got the little prongs on BOTH low beam sockets BENT trying to replace bulbs with my BIG HANDS. Finally disassembled headlight and rebent the retaining prongs. PITA.
