Question for Bay Area owners:
Can any of you suggest a very good body shop or detailer in the Bay Area ?
The car (heavily discounted in price) that I'm thinking of buying has a very slight 'imperfection' just above the rear qtr panel above the wheel well. It was rubbed against a wood garage door side post. Nothing really major, most of the paint is still there.
Would like to have this professionally fixed and done right. Any suggestions?

Hi Robin, welcome to the Forum. 
There are many good body shops in the Bay Area and I use one in San Jose that is called L&M. We have many members who live in your area and when they see your post I am sure they will give you the name of a good place to go. ;)

I have had very good luck with Brooks Motors. They are located near the airport, off of Bigg Street. They are real close to 880 and concentrate mostly on high end cars. Give them a look and see if you are in the neighborhood. Lots of Mercedes, Porshe, BMW's usually being worked on.

Hate to tell ya Rhys, but there IS only one true place that is known nationwide as "THE BAY AREA", and that would be the San Francisco Bay area.

Lafayette Auto Body in Lafayette did my Mag Red when someone in the post office parking lot decided to wreck my day. They did a really good job and one of the guys working there is a friend and owns a C5 so he watches out for the Corvettes that come in.
