Default HELP: Idle issue - got the codes - can someone explain?

This problem has happened a couple of times inthe past briefly but today it was worse. While idling at lights on the way home, my idele started to get real rough and the exhaust started to bellow some smoke. I even noticed when I revved the engine that the exhaust note sounded - how should I say - less tame - a little rougher/louder.

Only other thing I can think of is I recently changed the oil with a mechanic friend - would I have any concern that Pep Boys gave me the wrong oil filter? and could that cause this?

I ran the codes:

Current: 10 PCM P0300 C
B0 RFA C2120 HC

Historic: 60 IPC B0521 H
60 IPC V1160 H
80 Radio U1016 H
A0 LDCM U1064H
A7 RDCM U1064 H
A6-SCM No Comm

Any ideas what this means? The only mods on my car are a Donaldson Blackwing and Corsa Exhaust. Thanks for any help!

P0300 C = engine misfire detected - this worries me a bit
B0521 H = Tachometer Signal Circuit Malfunction

Couldn't find the others....

You have an engine (cylinder/s ) mis. The car is NOT going to run well until you figure out what cylinder/s are misfiring. You need to check each spark plug wire, coil and valve spring to find out what is the ROOT cause of the misfire!

My gut is a bad plug and or wire. Stop in after the holiday and I will take a look.

You guys rock....well except for that smart *** George...I hope your investments tank. The driving skill you talk of is only due to the what...100+ hsp advantage you have over me? get your *** down to Atco and we'll see what kind of reaction time you have old man.

Chris, I should have a new allowance of vacation time after the 1st so I'll give you a call and bring it up. I'll take a look at the plugs and wires and see if anything looks wrong.

Is it okay to drive? The smoke worried me a bit and I need the car to at least get me though the holidays. Weird thing is that its happens occasionally. 9 out 10 times the car runs fine.
