My passenger door lock works when it wants to. Hitting the drivers side door lock/ unlock the passenger door only unlocks 10% of the time. It sounds like the lock is moving inside the door but not unlocking
Thanks for any help,Randy
My driver side power door lock was ntermittent. Whether I used the fob or the door switch, I would sometimes hear the "click" of the relay in the module, but with repeated tries I would finally hear a "thump" as the solenoid popped the lock.
If that symptom matches your problem, it is most likely the door lock module. They are repairable (search C5 sections on "door lock module") or you can replace them.
The problem is the relays build up carbon on the contactors for the high current side and fail to complete the circuit to power the solenoid.

Good luck!
Just replaced the offending relay in my passenger side module. A little complicated but doable. Thinking back on it I probably could have gotten by if I would have drilled a small hole in the relay's cover then sprayed contact cleaner in there.
There are 4 relays on the board---the two smaller ones are for the door lock. The inboard one was the bad one for me.
Just did this a few days ago. Blew a fuse doing it and spent almost a week trying to figure out why the entire door wouldn't work. Replaced the fuse and everything is well.
