Default A little help please!!!

Working on 2000 C5 Corvette.

I'm getting a couple of codes on the Vette. They are: P 1120
P 1220
P 1516.

What do you think I should do. I Pulled off the Vaccum lines at the throttle body and the one that's on the pass. front of the intake. I capped them off. I cleaned the air intake boot, and wipped out the inside of the throttlw body. And now, my car is in "Reduces Engine Power" and I have these codes... Please help. I just want my car to run...

Thanks

Well that sucks... The P 1220 code is for the throttle position sensor and the P 1516 code is for the throttle actuator control. So it sounds like that is where the issue is. I would look for any loose or corroded connections or any wires that are frayed cut or pinched. Especially check the grounds in the engine well on either frame rail. Also you might do a search on the throttle position sensor..I seem to remember there was a thread about that. I'm no expert by any means but I hope this helps you find the problem. If you continue to have problems see if you can talk to Bill Curlee he is tuff on these cars.

I recently had the same code after unplugging the Throttle position sensor. I found the terminal retention of one of the pins slightly loose. I got a dental pick and slightly twisted behind the loop of the terminal until it made good contact again.
