I dont have the 1.3-1.8k for some really nice long tube heads, but for just the noise factor on a supercharged vette with Z06 rear exhaust what'd think?
Ok so the Supercharger should have any negative effects by using the cheap-o headers? Sounds like i might save myself some money
Most header cos. add the "vette tax" to their headers. If you look at the prices of headers for other cars and then at vettes they are sometimes double the cost. I paid $600 shipped for a set of Jet Hots coated inside and out.
If you want zero hassles and save some money too, grab a pair of used shortys on the for sale forum. Flamers can walk, we all know HP is left on the table, but you will still get maybe 10 hp and some torque, good sound and a direct bolt in for a little cash. Which seems to answer your question. I would not get the ebay headers, I have heard there are fitment and quality issues.
Just find a nice used set of used Long Tube headers in the forsale section that is the entire kit, headers to the midsection that is included. Kooks, LG's, AR, FLP's, etc. is what I'd look for. You can find a nice used set anywhere from $700-$1200. All depends on what they are. By the time you get those headers, you still have to fab some stuff up, and still have issues with fitment and alignment.
