Don't use all capital letters, it's interpreted as yelling.

P.S. I have them up front on my 99 and I like them.

I have them on my 98 coupe and they are decent tires. I recently got the car and they came with it so unfortunatley I have not been able to compare them to the GY's. But I have heard from other forum members that they are a lot better than the GY's. Good luck! :seeya

Just changed over about three weeks ago. Much Quieter! Seems to give better traction. Very satisfied.

Had mine about a month now. No question they are quieter and smoother. Grip is better. They will only go 50-60 miles flat as opposed to the Goodyears which will go 200 miles flat. Also I noticed that "turn in" is not as crisp as with the Goodyears, likely a result of the rounded shoulder.
Overall, considering the price difference, I'd say the are a hell of a good tire.

Hi, I have run them for 6 months.
Rim protector...is cool not a visable eyesore for me.
Width...They do look a little smaller, because of the roundness (instead of square drop off on GY) to the sidewall.
Traction...Dry weather on straightline acceleration seems OK.
Traction ...Wet ????????
Grip...acceleration they kind of feel soft or greasy in corner. Control and slide is predictable. OK.
Braking...my only grip. They tire "bark" under braking runing my stealth approach to driving. I do not recall the GY barking as much.
Quietness...NOCTICABLE quieter road noise that GY.

So......based on road noise and straightline grip definitely preform better than GY.

Myself...I will try the BF Goodrich KD SSS next tire purchase. Michelin is the other option.

I've had mine on for 4,000 miles and they are soooooo much better than the Gy's. No more pounding on me or the vette when you hit those manhole covers or ridges in the road that you want to drive around but just can't (car next to you). I just wish they wouldn't sidestep when my PLII vette either downshifts from third to second, or upshifts from first to second. :D :D :D :D

I haven't tried any high g launches with them but they seem to corner as well or better. The only thing I really notice is a low growling noise that comes from the back tires. They seem to make the same volume of noise as the Goodyear just a different type of noise. At first I thought I had a diff problem but the noise is constant whether the clutch is in or out. The noise could also be due to my running max negative camber in the rear.

Godspeed:
Thank you for the information.
I did not know that capital letters were "interpreted" as yelling. In the Marine Corps all messages are sent in capital letters.

Don't worry about it...we all have to learn and most of us have made mistakes one way or another. Semper Fi.

From my experience in the service, much of the communication in the Marines was quite loud, could be considered as "yelling", the "all capps" communication from TURBOTOC might be quite appropriate for his daily lifestyle. :D

This may be Ok, but it is generally better to run all four the same. :yesnod:

I would also suggest replacing the front tires so that all four tires are matched.

I would do the same. Match all four if you can. By the way, at Capital Drag Raceway in Crofton, Md. last friday night, I did a 13.14@107mph with the FS's  :D :D :D
