Searched the forums and didn’t see anything saying how to replace them. The dealer quoted it as a 1 hour job, but would take over a week to do and I have a 100 mile trip to do tomorrow I don’t want to listen to the belt on >,<
So, anyone have a link to some picts of the tensioner pulley, what to do with it, and what the good pulleys are to lube / clean while you're in there are?
Do I need to remove anything to get to them, or is just working around the intake and everything is fine?
The dealer quoted it as a 1 hour job is joke. Any experienced backyard mechanic can do it in less than 10 minutes, and thats if he stops for a beer break.
Thanks everyone!! I got both belts replaced with no mishaps.
I'm a big & tall guy and had some fun manipulating my arms around the main crank pully, but eventually got the "teeth" of the belts in where they needed.
