Default 98 c5 vert window adjust

so i close the doors on my 98 c5 vert with the top down, and it sounds like the window should have broken!!!!
the c5 shop manuals say "do not touch" the adjustment bolt located behind the oval red door-open reflector.
anybody know how this is done without paying the body shop whatever they want???
(usually i'll just break it, and THEN pay them whatever they want!!!)
thanks in advance

window adjust is pretty much straight forward! You most likely have an issue with the two adjustment bumpers at the top of the door. They steady the glass. They get worn and can be replaced or just adjusted. The adjustments at the bottom of the door are for window tip in or tip out. Dont see why they would say DONT TOUCH THEM.

Pull the door panel off and check it out!
