Headlights Won't Close
My headlights are stuck open on my 01, the dash backlights do not work with the car running and the rear running lights are out. Both headlights work high and low beams, and the dash lights come back on when I shut the car off. The foglights do not come on either.
Is this the ground problem I have been reading about? Any ideas?

Rear running lights are on the same circuit as the dash lights. It's been that way on almost all cars for the last 30 years. It's so that you know your tail lights are out. Now, onto the problem.. It doesn't sound like grounding to me. It sounds more like a blown fuse(s). Have you checked them? was the car in the rain lately? possible water in the control box that is located behind the panel under the passenger's feet. What else have you checked?
