digital climate control no a/c drivers side

digital climate control no a/c drivers side
My drivers side blows hot and pass. side blows perfectly cold,when a/c is on both sides are set at 65 degrees. A friend of mine at GM saids I need a new climate control, and that the reason why the pass.side blows cold is because it is not used as much. Another forum member said he had the same problem and when he added a can of refrigerent it fixed itself. Anybody ever have this problem. or might have the answer to this, cause I need a/c this spring. thanks GREG O.

Tim, thank you so very much for the info and pics you sent me. With this info I should be able to fix the problem with a little bit of help of my engineering friends.
