Default Tire size and active handling?

I did some searching on this and could not find quite the answer that I was looking for. I have a 2002 coupe.

I have an opportunity to trade my current wheels/tires (265/35-18 and 295/35-18) for another set of wheels/tires (275/35-18 and 335/30-18).

The diameter of the new tires are 25.7" front and 25.9". This differs quite a bit from the stock size and differs a fair amount from what I have now. Will the front/rear difference of only .2" cause active handling problems when the stock difference was 1.1"?

It might work but it will be hypersensitive on the traction control side.

Is the AH on the 99 and earlier cars any more or less sensitive than the AH on the later cars?

you should not have a problem on any C5 doing that.

It becomes an issue when the fronts are larger diameter than the rears and the rear rpm is higher than the front. the computer interprets that to mean the rear wheels have lost traction and are spinning.

With only .2 inch difference, you will not need very much rear wheel slippage to kick in traction control...

Those sizes are what I run on the street. No problem at all.
