my problem is there is no problem
ok... So i decided to tackle my O2 problem today. I've been tossing a heated circuit code for oh 6 months now... after asking some questions i learned it was related to my front (only have fronts) driver side. I get under & see what i already knew, some melted connectors (o2 to extension) but the melt didn't appear to touch any wires... So i look a lil further and find the extension harness is melted a litte further up... but again the wires aren't expose and after a ohm test the wires came back fine... I decided it was likely the extension but to prove this i swapped with the pass side extension...My expections..
1) trouble code shifts from driverside to pass side
2) trouble code stays the same and requires the O2 replaced.
I drove for about 40 mins... yes it's probably boarderline freezing but i did get my car up over 190*
So my question is how hot or how long do i have to run my car to get the error to come up.... maybe everything is cool now idk... but if there was on O2 problem how long or how HOT does my car need to be to toss a trouble code??????
