So the Z I bought last year is suppose to have a high dollar calibre k40 radar detector installed. It has never worked right. It just beeps every 5seconds or so. I finally took a minute and traced the wires from the on/off switch to the front of the car. I want to check power to the head unit and such. I can't see the actual unit but it appears to be mounted under the brake cooling duct on the drivers side. What is going to be the most efficient way to get to it. I'm not sure removing the brake duct will give me enough room. Any thoughts? Wheel well? Front bumper cover? Thanks for any help.
