I Am Going To Race ( Maybe ) A 2000 Camaro Saturday Night. He Says He Has 2:73 Gears ( Dont Believe Him )
3400 Stall Converter, Stock Heads, Ms3 Cam And A Nos Nitrous Kit. Maybe A 150 Shot. He Has M/t 15 " Drag Radials And The Car Isnt Gutted Out. I Feel I'm Being Played. He Knows My Car Runs 10's And He Wants A Race For $ 1000.00..........

It's called being a hustler and finding someone to screw over. If he admits to what you listed, figure he's lying way on the low side. Does the dude know what your car has run? If he does, unless he is as dumb as a box of sand, he knows he's going to make a grand tomorrow unless he does something silly or careless. It's time to sniff around and find out exactly what he has in the car and what kind of times he has run. If you can't find out, it's time to plan on rinsing those pesky ice cubes tomrrow or something unless the ten benjamins don't mean that much. Don't race the dude and take a ribbing or race the dude and be down a yard and still take the ribbing. One of three things can happen. Two of 'em aren't good.

Also, saying you run "10's" is very broad...there is a BIG difference between 10.1 and 10.9.

Not worth $1000 risk when you have no idea what he really has, especially when he knows exactly how fast you run. No one bets $1000 against a 10 sec car unless they've got a lot of tricks up their sleeve (or are really dumb).

I'm Backing Down On This One. I Am Supposed To Race Him With My Stock Tires. And Him With His M/t's. My Car Is Known To Blow Tires Off At 90 Mph. Oh, Well........ I Just Dont Like Being Called A Wussy. This Will Be My First Race To Decline. I'll Suck It Up And Keep My $.

What ya mean he wont let you run other tires on your car? He makes the rules what you can or cant run on YOUR car? Tell him to put his stock tires back on also then.

I'm with briann510. He is making the stipulation that you can only run on street tires and he gets DRs AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA what a tool. Run what you brung not you can only bring this much lol. Now that's funny.

Guy's full of it. WTF would anyone run a cam with the size of a MS3 on an auto and still have 2.73s. With a MS3, he should at least be running a 3.42 if not 3.90 or 4.10s.

The Track Is Nearby !! Also, A Closed Down Private Airport. As Far As The Camaro Goes...... The Nitrous Would Bring The Car Out Of The Whole Since Its Lacking Gears. Then, The Ms3 Cam Would Pull On From There. My Car Is Fast.. But 1st.. 2nd And 3rd Dont Hook. So, This Is The Real Reason I'm Not Racing Him. Spin Spin Spin Is No Win Win Win
