ET = hp?
A man that I work with has a drag car, and he ask me to find out what his hp might be by his ET time in a 1/8 mile. Well I am having trouble finding this table that I used in the past.
The facts are:
2800 lbs.(total wt.including driver)
5.43 rear gear
7.0@98 mph

7.0 in the 1/8 is 11.0 in the 1/4 - it takes about 400 to 420 hp at the crankshaft for a 2800# car to go 11.0 in the 1/4.
