I'm a recent corvette owner and I have a problem that recently showed up. Before I go into it, here is some history. I purchased the car (manual) in November with 65k on it and drove it to Texas from New York. Upon getting here my ABS light came on. I took it to the dealer and it was the EBCM of course. Soon after that came the problem I have a question about. When I start the car in the morning my engine revs way up, and when it comes down it gets stuck at 1500 rpms. When I get into first it will rev normally, but whenever I'm not on the gas it will go back up to 1500. The weird part of the whole thing is that if I let the car sit for 4 or 5 minutes it will drop to 800 rpms and work properly. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.
Go to “technical data base” and then to “Corvette ECM Computer Codes”. Then select your year car. Read the instructions and then scroll down to the "READ MORE" window to view the code definitions.\
Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. Has the check engine light came on? If you have a vacuum leak the car will rev up until the engine goes into closed loop when the fuel trims take over adding more fuel to compensate for the air leak. Use some brake cleaner and carefully spray around the intake gasket and listen for a change in the engine rpm. This would be my first guess.
I ran the diagnostic and this is what I cam up with:
C1214 C H - Solenoid Valve Relay Contact or Coil Circuit Open - Which is of course the dreaded EBCM
C1226 H
C1223 H - Both mean Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
B0521 H - Tachometer Signal Circuit Malfunction
The only one that came back after I cleared them was the C1214. So my engine light is still on. I will attempt the brake cleaner thing to see what happens. And thank you very much for the websites, I had no idea the computer had a diagnostic option.

If you have a Check Engine light on then there must be another code besides the C1214. The EBCM will not turn on the check engine light but it will turn on the Traction Control light. The B0521 code indicates there were some issues with the IPC reading the RPM signals coming from the PCM. Did the engine noise change with rpms or were you just noticing the tach moving?
Since you recently had the EBCM replaced at the dealer I would let them handle the repair to the ABS system. If it is the EBCM again it will be their nickle to fix it. Most dealers provide a 12 mo/12K warranty on any of their repairs.
