I just bought a 2002 Z06 5800 miles. Car drives AMAZING! One goofy thing I'm not sure about. . . When I turn the steering wheel/tires all the way as far as possible (when I'm making a slow full circle turn at the end of my street (at 1 mile an hour), I feel a roughness to the tires, like its rubbing or flat or something. I see no other effects of this while driving normally (or even driving at 100mph plus). Anything weird here???

Corvettes are not know for their turning radius. The roughness you feel is most likely just the rubber biting plus pinning the power steering unit in a tight turn is rough on the pump.
Try flooring the accelerator and letting the rear tires push the car around - it will be quicker, more fun, thrilling, smoother, cooler to all watching and enhance your prowess as a Corvetter.
Most corvettes do that. What is happining is when you turn your steering wheel all the way the wheels are so off they hop. if you look at your wheels when they are all the way turned you will see what I am talking about have someone else hold the wheel all the way one way.
I haven't tried it, but it kind of makes sense. The tires are so wide that the inside edge has a much tighter turning circle than the outside. So when you turn at slow speed, you are probably feeling the inside edge trying to grip but being pushed on the road by the momentum of the car. Anyway, sounds reasonable to me. Most cars are harder to roll at full steering wheel turn, even with regular tires, I think it must be just normal physics at work.

Have felt it at slow turning speeds in my driveway, feels like the tire is "skipping", not turning.
