diff. fluid question

diff. fluid question
Here is the thing i had axles rmoved from the diff. because i had to do some work with suspension, so i had some fluid loss i dont even know how much it leaked out ...and i dont know which fluid should i put in it and how do i check it...???

I would go with a GM brand fluid. There should be a plug to unscrew with a ratchet. Stick your finger in the hole, if you feel fluid you are fine. If you dont I would add until you can feel it.

Alright thanks a lot ill do that...Actually i stoped by the dealer not that long ago but it seemes like each time i go in there i always have a problem wiht them i dont know why ,,i asked for some diff.. fluid and he tells me you can get that at auto zone or other places ....But i never asked the guy where i can get it ,.,.i was trying to buy the GM one from him....and it didnt look like that he was just being nice....its just funny
