I have been thinking of upgrading my braking. I now have stock calipers with EBC Green Stuff pads and Goodridge SS brake lines. I am liking the Wilwood SL6 and SL4 setup with 13" rotors. I want to use the car for street use (cruising), drag racing, and want to get into autoX and maybe even some HPDE. I have 04 Z06 Speedlines with Pilot Sports and a CCW Drag setup. The car is lowered a bit, ~1", and is running FE4 suspension parts with QA1 shocks.

My questions are:
1) Will this brake package work with the above setups?
2) Any direct experience with this brake package?
3) I would like to put in a brake bias valve for tuning the rear brakes for street, drag, and road course. Is this doable?

GO to the WIlwood site to download the mounting scematics. You need to look at the required brake OFFSETs to see if your wheels will fit.
You may need to put on longer studs and a wheel spacer too allow your current wheels to fit over the calipers.
Yes putting in a brake bias valve is possible. I belive Wilwood also makes these.
I recently upgraded to this exact package. I have the stock speedline 17"s in front so I ordered the 13" kit all the way around. I ordered the 13" rear kit so I could keep the 17" drag radials I have.
I installed the kit myself without problems. I have not tracked the car yet so all I can comment on is some decels from high speed on the interstate. The brakes bite hard. I have done some spirited driving on some curvy lake roads and I didn't feel any sign of fade. I also upgraded to the wilwood stainless lines when I did the job.
The brake job went very smoothly until I cross threaded a caliper stud. I had to get one from wilwood but no big deal. One tool that I needed that I didn't have was a deep-well 7/16 twelve point. It is a socket that doesn't come with most of the craftsman sets. Just a minor setback. After all is said and done the brakes look and work very well.
Give Tbyrne a call and they will hook you up. They were running a special about a month before Christmas and I think they are still running that special. It was about 3200 shipped to my door with the red powdercoat. I would definately go with the Wilwoods on my next project.
The route I went is: SS lines, OEM rotors, nice pads, and the ticket is Superblue brake fluid and paint the calipers red.
Before this I had fade on stock set up slowing down from 150 to 70. After the change I was able slow from 130 to 0 without a hint of strain!
