Cams, Feedback/Advice Wanted

If I post this in the wrong place, I apologize.

I have the following two cams #1 is planned for a 2004 LS1. It will also get a set of Patriot heads and LG Pro headers. Number 2 is planned for a 2004 LS6. It will also receive LG Pro headers...not sure if heads will be changed but I have the AFR bug.

I would appeciate any feedback/opinion you may have about the set up/s...i.e. performance characteristics of the cams...idle, lope, street manners, hp gain, suggestions etc.

#1 Comp Cams PN 54-000-11
Lift: 581 intake / 588 exhaust Tappet: 273 intake / 277 exhaust
LSA: 114 + 4

#2 Comp Cams PN 54-444-11 LS1 XER 273 HR 14
Lift: 581 intake / 592 exhaust Tappet: 224 intake / 230 exhaust
LSA: 114

hi you need to be clearer on the cam specs and you might get more feedback--------the duration is generally rated @ .050 for comparison and you don't say what it is --- the lift on one has a typo i believe---Also say which one is intake and which is the exhaust--the LSA is fine---PS--do you need to pass smog inspection ???
