Not that Im aware of or have herd of. What are your symptoms?? Do a comprehensive check of the electrical systems. Make sure your battery cables are good and tight and read ALL your codes:

This is the absolute best C5 Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) web site!!!

http://www.corvettedoctor.com/Code_Main.html
http://www.corvettedoctor.com/index.html

Go to “technical data base” and then to “Corvette ECM Computer Codes”. Then select your year car. Read the instructions and then scroll down to the "READ MORE" window to view the code definitions.\

Here is another very good site:

http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_cod...d-ii-codes.php

Make sure to include the H or C suffix!!

Sound effects are cool too! 

No codes, just checked the fuel trims and the short term are at 0%. The car accident was a significant hit so i'm assuming, there's an actuator of some sort.

Barely. The car struggles to stay on unless i give it gas and then i have to play with the rpms to even keep it on for a bit, before shutting itself off.

Im very surprised you dont have codes if its running that baddly. Check your air tubing between the MAF and TB. Maybe it got knocked lose.

Disconnect and reconnect the battery. That may reset everything.

Everything between the intake to TB is good, but I am getting a P0101 error. I had just cleaned it out in the morning (Vararam) so I dont think their is an debri in their. But their was a good amount of white smoke lastnight when I'd start it shortly to move it.

On the early C5s, the fuel filter is located on the frame in the rear by the differential. Maybe it got mashed?

Bud

Your MAF is TOAST! Try this; un-plug the connector and then try to start and run the engine. If the engine performance improves, thats the issue. The engine will run with out the MAF connected. It wont run god but it will run. The HIT could have damaged the fine delicate sense wires inside. The connector could also be bad/loose or dirty!!

Give that a try.

Please let us know how you make out!

600 bucks for a tow ???? dude, the car got hit, let the ins company pay to tow it to the shop of if u do not have towing coverage for some weird reason fork up the 80 to 100 bucks to have it towed.....sounds like its obviously related to the collision so why try to fix it on your own?

oh, and depending on how hard it got hit, maybe the in tank fuel pump got knocked around or something? maybe a fuel line is kinked or bent? way to many possibilities....

Well that might be it I'll have to check. But luckily there was not real body damage, due to ride hieght, he hit my exhaust, but that might have done it. It's not substanially damaged, but it did move about an inch or 2 the right.

As for the tow, I was 40 min away from home and in Seattle if your in an accident they charge you $200/hr, but if it's a regular tow it's $100 plus $3.50 per mile. Wish they had given me options, but unfortunately Tow Companies are not watching out for your best benefit. Luckily it was the other guys fault, so the insurace company is going to cover everything minus the deductible. There wasn't too much damage, other than just some paint work that needs to be done, but I'm going to have the dealer check it out as soon as the insurance company gives me the word. I honestly thought my whole bumper was going to be smashed in when I got out, but there wasn't even a crack. Just a bumper imprint. Man these cars are tough. But now I have to figure out what's wrong with my fuel situation.

Thanks for the help guys, any more feed back is greatly appreciated.

If you have Full Coverage, luckily I do, the insurance company will take care of it. Then they go after the uninsured driver once they have paid out everything, so they can collect their money. He got 2 tickets for now? (Neglent driving, and No insurance)

But you should of heard the story coming from this guy, he was trying to make me believe it was my fault. He even went as far as saying, "Uh, if you think about it, it was your fault. The car in front of you was stopped, I was stopped (mind you he was behind me), and you were still going." Really???? You don't say . So how'd I end up underneath the subaru? Oh man and you should of heard the story of his passenger.....Supposeably, they were on the way to the airport to catch a flight b/c her husband had just died. But for me not to worry that I didn't need to call the cops b/c she worked for a big law firm (mind you this was a 81' Chevy Nova that just hit me). Anyways, I told her if she needed to catch a flight to take a cab, but the guy wasn't going any where. Anyways, after listening to him for about 45 mins trying to make the couple from the front car believe it was my fault, and trying to negotiate w/ me to not call the cops he calls the passenger "to tell the lawyer to start the paper work". So he tells me, "Well my GIRLFRIEND said that your gonna get a ticket b/c you were too close to the car in front of you." Yea b/c you hit me into them, but now I thought her husband just died? Wanna explain that? Anyways, moral of the story Don't Trust Anyone, get your police report regardless. Oh, and becareful with stupid drivers.

As for me, now I'm just waiting for the insurance to let me know what to do. Thanks for the support and the help guys.

If your exhaust got pinched closed, it will run like crap.. or not at all.

It might be this one then, b/c I could hardly move the thing. I'd have to start it, put in in D or R, then hit it quick to get some gas and be able to move it.
